Spring style has always been notoriously difficult to tackle in NYC, where “spring” means a jacket and jumper (read: sweater for my US friends 😉 ) one day and a t-shirt the next. This spring, we had snow melting on the pavement as some brave souls walked around in tank tops, iced coffees in hand – only in New York! When it comes to spring, I find having the right outerwear key.
For this look, I kept my outfit pretty minimal, with my leopard-print booties as the statement piece. Wearing a t-shirt underneath my heavier, long-line coat meant I could keep warm without loosing the lightness of spring.
When it comes to mixing prints, I’m either all or nothing (those who know me best are probably rolling their eyes at this!). I love a good pattern clash, but this time I let my leopard boots be the highlight of this look to give the whole ensemble an effortless chic vibe. As the boots paired with this coat give this style all the chic-ness it needs, I kept everything else very casual (including my hair – whoops!).
On me: Ray-Ban sunglasses, SheIn Coat, Zara V-neck, ASOS double Western belt, vintage Levi’s, Steven Madden leopard print boots
